Who’s the teacher?

Hello! My name is Anna Van Devender. I am an Arizona native who loves the Sonoran Desert. I am a parent who has learned through trial and error how to enjoy nature experiences with my kids. I am a home gardener who plays with plants and digs in the dirt. I am an environmental educator certified by the Arizona Association for Environmental Education. I am a U of A Wildcat with degrees in ecology and teaching. I am a lifelong learner who remains active in local education, conservation, parenting, and gardening communities.

What services do you provide?

Private workshops to families, individuals, and small groups.

Where are the classes held?

Most lessons are held in your own home and yard.  I come to you. It is also possible to arrange lessons at a school, park, or other community center.

Nature to You serves Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley.

When are the classes held?

Openings for initial lessons are available Wednesday through Saturday, in 2-hour sessions between the hours of 8:30 and 2:30. Please call or e-mail me to request and confirm days and times.
